Following the renovation of our new kitchen, Chef Jill Hannaford, a self described “free range” chef, is joining Robin Craves to offer a ‘rolling pop up take out experience.’ An emphasis on fresh ingredients, international flavors, and variety, is the order of the day. Most weekends, there will be some combination of specialty soups, salads, mains, desserts, and for those seafarers, always a selection of savory hand pies!
Bite into the soft dough to discover flavorful fillings from around the world. Each has its own spice or seasoning signature. These half-moon shaped hand pies are perfect for being on or by the water, as well as for cocktail parties – they are not crumbly, oily and can easily be eaten with one hand and in several bites. They are 2 for $5 and two flavors from the following list will be featured on weekends:
Artichoke, Bacon, Jack Cheese and Jalapeno
Asian Pork, Cabbage and Scallion
Chicken, Brie and Leek
Indian Curry Chickpea and Spinach
Mediterranean Harvest (Tomato, Eggplant, Zucchini, with Oregano and Garlic)
Mexican (Beef, Cheese, Black Beans and Jalapeno)
Mushroom, Gorgonzola and Caramelized Onions
Salsa Verde Chicken (chicken with corn, pepper jack cheese and tomatillo salsa)
South American Picadillo (Beef, Green Olives and Currants)
And now your favorite hand pies are available in a ‘Take & Bake’ format in the reach-in retail freezer! Buy them while supplies last and bake them off right from the freezer.
